OPENING FILM OF PRAGUE INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL
Nicole Catania’s directorial debut will be the opening film of Prague Independent Film Festival, taking place in Prague September 14-16, 2024.
GREENPOINT FILM FESTIVAL
The Only Way Out Is Through was included in the official selection for Greenpoint Film Festival. The film screened 8/8/24 as part of the festival’s program: Untangling Grief.
WEST COAST PREMIERE
The Only Way Out Is Through will have its west coast premiere at Burbank International Film Festival — September 25-29, 2024.
WORLD PREMIERE
Nicole’s directorial debut made its world premiere at Manhattan Film Festival on June 15, 2024.
Brilliant Traces
Nicole completed her run starring in Cindy Lou Johnson’s play Brilliant Traces at The Chain Theatre in NYC — April 25-28th, 2024.
MIFF 2023 Seasonal Competition Nominee
The Only Way Out Is Through was nominated in a number of categories for the seasonal competition at the Montreal Independent Film Festival.

The Only Way Out Is Through
Nicole made her directorial debut with her short film The Only Way Out Is Through in January 2023. The film is currently making its way through the festival circuit.
Nicole played Val in a developmental reading of Elle Meerovich’s play The Gorilla Wore Fur — directed by Connor Scully at The Tank (NYC)
New Voices Showcase
Nicole completed her run in Lemon Boy (written & directed by Evan Rosen) and Charlie (written by Beth Polsky & directed by Evan Rosen) — as part of Murmuration Theatre Company’s New Voices Showcase.

Nicole starred in Carly Ivrey’s short comedy, Things Unsaid
